Guest Bedroom — Gamlingay Residence
Japanese-Inspired Calm & Intentional Design
As part of a large-scale 492m² home renovation in Gamlingay, this guest bedroom was designed to create a calm, welcoming retreat inspired by Japanese design principles — balancing simplicity, warmth, and emotional comfort.
The space responds directly to the client’s brief, translating a desire for tranquillity into a carefully composed interior rooted in balance and restraint.
Through a controlled palette, natural textures, and layered lighting, the room achieves a quiet harmony — allowing each element to contribute without overwhelming the whole.
Calm. Warmth. Simplicity.
