A refined hallway transformation centred around bespoke craftsmanship, intelligent storage, and warm architectural detailing. A custom Sottsass‑veneer bench anchors the space with both elegance and practicality, creating an inviting entryway with a quietly premium presence.

In this project, we transformed our client’s hallway with a bespoke storage solution crafted in an elegant Sottsass veneer (Ettore Sottsass Archives Eden Anglo Veneers). The custom bench blends seating with concealed storage, offering a harmonious balance of practicality and refined design.
Hidden understairs storage, wrapped in bespoke panelling, maximises functionality while maintaining a seamless architectural flow. The detailing remains the focus — clean lines, warm textures, and a handcrafted finish that elevates the everyday experience of entering the home.
Thoughtfully integrated lighting enhances the materiality, allowing soft shadows to play across the veneer and panelling. The result is a hallway that feels both welcoming and composed — a timeless, intelligently designed entryway that reflects the character of modern homes in Shelford and Cambridge.
